Antle Denny

Antle Denny was a standout Athlete both locally and National throughout his Career. He played AAA High School, Jr. B, and Senior A Hockey as a Goaltender. He also played Basketball in Native Tournaments as a standout player. Fastball was his most prominent sport as he played for over 12 years in the NS Senior A Fastball League with Glace Bay Alpines etc. He had incredible range and played errorless ball at 3rd base while being considered the Best 3rd Basemen in Nova Scotia in his prime. He also had incredible speed while being able to lay one down with best of them. One of his most incredible feats was hitting a Home Run off of one of the Most prominent Pitchers in Nova Scotia history, Dale Ryan. Antle cleared the Centerfield Fence by about 100 ft., at Elks Park in Brookfield, N.S., all of this in his Rookie season. Antle continued to have a standout career in the sport of Fastball while winning several Provincial Championships, and made many trips to the Canadian National Championships throughout his career. He has excelled in absolutely any sport that he has taken part in throughout his life.
